With eight kids and two adults at our house, we go through ALOT of bread at our house. So, knowing that I would be having a baby this summer, my eight year old learned how to make bread. Yep, it’s soooo easy even my hubby or kids can make it. It has a couple of “secret” ingredients (vinegar and potato flakes) to help make it soft. There is not anything weird in this recipe that you shouldn’t have in your pantry already. Also, it’s a shelf stable recipe. No refrigerated ingredients nessesary. And food storage friendly.
I use a bread maker on the dough cycle for the first rise of the dough. But it’s totally not nessesary. I just do it for a more consistent result.
