Things are still crazy around here. 🙂
And we celebrate another kid birthday here at the end of next week. This wreath has spent a lot of time on my door this summer with five birthdays in three months. I even had to take down the fourth of July wreath to put this baby up.
It was super quick and easy. After several failed attempts at making a birthday wreath, I saw one with fun parts at the dollar store, of all places. I snatched it up and grabbed a grapevine wreath from Michael’s. I spray painted the wreath white (one coat of primer, two of paint, in case you wondered). Then, I cut all the pieces off of the dollar wreath. I reinforced the cake with craft sticks and hot glued wire to the backs of all the pieces. Added some sparkly pipe cleaners and wired all the pieces on. Then I hung it on the door with some polka dot ribbon from my stash. I love it!
What are your family’s fun birthday traditions?
