So here’s the deal:  My husband has an opinion about our furniture and he has an opinion on what I do to the house.  Some of my friends have said, “You are so lucky!  My husband doesn’t have an opinion at all!”  It is true that I am really lucky to have him.  But when our opinions on the house differ…hmmmm…let’s just say he should defer to me?  Right?  Can I get an AMEN?

Case in point:  The entry table.  I’ve wanted a table in the entryway of our home for the past 12 years.  We could not agree on a table, however.  Either our individual tastes didn’t gel or the table we liked was too pricey.  As a result we’d kind of given up on ever finding *the* table for the entryway.

Then one day I was at Kirkland’s and saw these cute little tables that were on a fabulous sale.  I realized if I grouped the tables together in my entryway I’d have a cute, colorful, eclectic entryway “table.”  They only had a couple that worked for me though, so I headed next door to Home Goods and found two more that worked well with the grouping.  All together the tables came to just over $200.

I didn’t even pause to get my husband’s opinion.  (Love you honey!)  I just snapped them up and stuck them in the trunk and had them all set up when he got home.  I don’t really know if he loves them as much I do, but he loves that I love them and if he doesn’t love them he’s not telling!

Lots of stores sell these little tables and the prices vary.  You can scoop them up when they go on sale, or you can watch for them in thrift stores. You can paint them fun colors or you can paint them all one color.  What I love most about them is the different levels–fun shelves to decorate, different heights to store baskets under, display pictures, etc.  Looking at this picture, I think I need something under the table on the right…but I haven’t decided what.  But hey–it took me 12 years to find the perfect entryway tables.  What’s a few more weeks or months, right?  Can I get an AMEN?
