It’s finally spring here in the Midwest! I love the warmer weather, and love that things are starting to turn green and bloom.
Two of my favorites were the first things to bloom, daffodils and forsythia! I love the cheerful yellow after a long (albeit “mild”) winter.
Here is a wreath I made for cheap last spring, that stayed up probably half the year, because I love it. And because I’m lazy!

Here’s how I made it:
1 straw wreath form, bought at goodwill for a dollar
1 roll of chevron burlap ribbon on clearance from Walmart (leftover from fall)
2 bunches of fake forsythia from the dollar store (the inspiration for this project)
2 sheets of craft felt for the bow.
It was a pretty simple project. Wrap the wreath form in burlap ribbon, hot glue the forsythia on, make a big bow out of felt and glue that on too. Bam. Done.
