It’s summer in Texas y’all. Everyday for the last week it’s been 100 degrees outside. I really don’t want a big pot of boiling water in my kitchen when it’s that hot outside.  Did you know you can microwave fresh corn on the cob? Seriously. Still in the husk. No steamy kitchen, no corn silk all over the kitchen, just yummy fresh corn goodness and quick. 

I used this tutorial but increased the cook time to 8 minutes because I had 4 ears of corn. Game changer. I won’t mind making corn on the cob anymore. And my kids never mind eating it. Especially my oldest daughter who just got her braces off today!  Yeah!
