We are two sisters who are stay-at-home moms with a love for crafts, thrifting, and taking care of our families. We live a couple of (big) states away from each other but love sharing our latest finds and good ideas with each other. We have been sharing with each other through texts, picture messages and good old sisterly chats. We thought it would be fun to use this blog to share our latest and greatest with each other, and any one else interested in following along!

We named our blog High Wire Living because it is all about this balancing act that we call life–the juggling that goes on when we’re raising our families, taking care of our homes, and working on the projects and hobbies that we just can’t get enough of. Join us up on the high wire as we share some of our latest home and craft projects, recipes, tips, thrifty finds, and more!

Meet Elizabeth
I am the lucky wife of a medical student, and mommy to two cute boys. I enjoy doing all kinds of crafts and projects, but I have a hard time just sticking with one thing at a time! I enjoy sewing, cooking, trying to decorate my home, learning about photography (very slowly!) and selling handmade jewelry in my new Etsy shop.

Meet Caroline
I am the mom of three girls and three boys, ages 11 and under. I create (sew, paint, cook, organize, etc) to stay sane. I like to work on making my house a home and having traditions (We LOVE holidays!) with my family. My house isn’t always clean but I’m trying to learn to balance for all the people around my home who need my attention more than the dust bunnies 🙂

Thanks for visiting!
